-
- I just bought a internal 28.8 sportster.
-
- I had an EXTERNAL Cardinal.
-
- I thought it would be as simple as just putting the sportster in BUT
- now my Win95 hangs during boot-up (well it does in safe mode).
-
- Does my external COM2 port have a part in this problem?
- Is Win95 finding the old COM2 that the external Cardinal plugged into
- AND the "new" COM2 sportster, hence the locking up???
-
- I bought the system used and I have no documentation on my card that
- the external COM2 is on. I guess I need to remove or add one or more
- jumpers on that card to disable that port????
-
- E-mail reply would be appreciated,
-
- thx
